Alan Raisman - Stray Cat Blues

Stray Cat Blues is a cat rescue facility located at Petsmart in North Wales and Collegeville PA.  Cats are available for adoption and they have a network of foster homes for stray cats.  Last year they place about 1200 cats.  They have about 70 families fostering cats.  They attend numerous community events making their presence as their outreach is a large part of what they do.  Fosters are all volunteers, The employees at Stray Cat Blues are all volunteers, they have one paid employee who manages all the fosters.  They run 30-40 fund raisers each year to pay for expenses and medical attention.

You can go to the website and apply for adoption for a specific cat if you choose.  https://www.straycatblues.org

The cost for adoption is $150 including spaying, neutering, shots, etc.  You may foster up to 8 cats at one time. volunteers must be 18 years of age but younger volunteers may help with fundraisers and administration.   They have about 200 volunteers and the organization is 25 years old.

When you volunteer they issue you a 'Stray Cat' email address for business use. Feral cats needed socialization are kept at Whiskers Waystation in Lansdale.  If you find a stray cat check for a chipping their ear and call Stray Cat Blues.
