Help Robin Parker
Past President Robin is in rehab at the Genesis II facility in Montgomeryville, 640 Bethlehem Pike, Montgomeryville, PA 18936.  She is hoping to leave there in coming weeks and needs to make a move to a more compatible apartment for assisted living. She could really use our help. If you would like to make a donation , there is a GoFundMe established already and the information is included below. Her email is dragonboatcrew2@gmail.com.

The GoFundMe is organized by her long time friend  Nancy Sirolli-Hardy
Here is the Donation  Link    <=====

Let’s rally around our beloved coach and friend Robin Parker. She has been an integral part of many of our lives on the river. Robin’s unwavering dedication and passion for dragon boating have inspired us all. Now, it’s our turn to support her during this challenging time.

Robin’s Journey
Robin has faced serious health issues that have impacted her quality of life. Despite the hurdles, she continues to fight with remarkable resilience. Her commitment to the sport of dragon boating remains unshaken, even as she grapples with medical treatments and mounting bills.

How You Can Help
Medical Equipment: Robin urgently needs specialized medical equipment to aid her recovery. These tools are essential for her well-being and rehabilitation.
Medical Bills: The cost of medical care can be overwhelming. Let’s ease Robin’s burden by contributing toward her medical bills. Every dollar counts!

Our Goal
Our goal is to raise $15,000 to help cover some of Robin’s medical expenses and provide her with necessary equipment. With your support, we can help her regain her strength and return to the water she loves.

Ways to Contribute
Donate: Any amount you can give will make a difference.
Spread the Word: Share Robin’s story with friends, family, and fellow paddlers.

Together, We Paddle Strong!!!

Robin’s spirit embodies the heart of our dragon boat community. Let’s come together, lift her up, and propel her toward recovery. Your support will show Robin how much we care and thank her for what she has meant to so many of us.
Thank you in advance for being part of her journey.
Paddles up!!!

LAST WEEK

LORI STRANGE, JILL WINTHER- KITTY COTTAGE

JILL WINTHER , LORI STRANGE. KITTY COTTAGE

Last Thursday, we were treated to a visit from some beautiful cats from KITTY COTTAGE, presented by the outfit's Manager and the Direscto LORI STRANGE and JILL WINTHER. The Cottage is a facility dedicated to receiving abandon or stray cats, and working with them , with the aim of eventual adoption, be increasing the cat's ability to interact with humans. The Cottage strives to create an open environment, with no cages, and establishing a standard home-like style for the cats in transition. The organization has received funds to build a new facility offering more indoor and outdoor space for the cats, which number up to 50 at any time, and allow KITTY COTTAGE to process over 150 adoptions a year.
They rely on volunteers to take daily care of the cars and survive on funding from donations from the public, corporate gifts, and fundraisers.
For further information, check their website at-  https://www.kittycottage.org

Thank you, Lori and Jill
