Fall Cleanup at Padden Park  Oct 18

🍂 Fall Clean-Up Day – Saturday, October 18th at 9 AM! 🌱

We're gearing up for our annual fall clean-up, and we’d love your help!
🗓 Date: Saturday, October 18th
🕘 Time: 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Padden Park - Oakland Drive, West Norriton
This year, we have two big goals:
  1. Clean Out the Old Garden: We'll be clearing out the current garden space so the township can maintain it through the fall and winter.
  2. Prep the New Garden: We'll be laying down cardboard and mulch over the grass to kill it off naturally by spring. By then, the cardboard will have broken down, and all we’ll need to do is rake up the mulch and start planting!
We need your help collecting cardboard!
Please save and bring any non-waxed cardboard (no shiny coatings) to the park on October 18th. This type breaks down best over the winter.

✅ Mark your calendars
✅ Bring your cardboard
✅ Invite your neighbors
✅ Join us for a fun and productive morning!

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Diane at dianejhelm@gmail.com
Thanks in advance for being part of our garden community!

How You Can Help Us Turn Compassion into Action:
  • Donate: Every dollar is a lifeline. Your gift brings food, shelter, and dignity to those rebuilding their world.
  • Share: Your voice matters. Spread this message on social media, through email, or in conversation. Be loud!  One share could spark a dozen acts of kindness.
  • Serve: Your time and skills will be needed soon. At the present time in our district, assistance is needed in the Burnet area and is being coordinated by the Ark of the Highland Lakes. Donations and manpower assistance info can be found at https://arkofhighlandlakes.org/flood-response-070525/ However for now, please stay tuned—we’re working closely with local authorities to ensure a safe, coordinated response.
