Our thanks to Nicole McGruder who spoke about educating the black community on civic topics. The Community Hero Action Group is a 501(c)3 non-profit activist organization headquartered in Pennsylvania whose mission is creating equitable health and wealth outcomes in the African-American community.
We had another great weekend of excellent weather down at the Elmwood Park Zoo. Many thanks to Dave S, Judy, Mark, Diane and Monica (and Andrew from the Rotaract) for supporting our club at the event. The crowd was slightly less than last week but we got a couple of people who signed up for information and a potential bike donor. Thanks to Expressive Path for hosting us.
