LAST WEEK
Fall Cleanup at Padden Park  Oct 18

🍂 Fall Clean-Up / Preparation Day  🌱

We got a lot done on Saturday at Padden Park and many people showed up including help from Rotaract.  Thank you to all who came out and worked hard.

We got all the cardboard down and covered it with about 6 inches of mulch.  We owe a debt of thanks to our friends at Rotaract, our friends of the club, John Heyser for the use of his dump cart and to Rotaskey & Trainor Topsoil for donating and delivering the mulch.

Thanks in advance for being part of our garden community!

The cardboard went down pretty fast and we watered it.

It was like assembling a big puzzle. no wait....PLAYING TETRIS.

And then the heavy work started.

John's cart made light work of transporting mulch.

Dave taste tested and personally approved the donuts.

and we had top notch supervision

TEXAS FLOOD RELIEF

How You Can Help Us Turn Compassion into Action:
  • Donate: Every dollar is a lifeline. Your gift brings food, shelter, and dignity to those rebuilding their world.
  • Share: Your voice matters. Spread this message on social media, through email, or in conversation. Be loud!  One share could spark a dozen acts of kindness.
  • Serve: Your time and skills will be needed soon. At the present time in our district, assistance is needed in the Burnet area and is being coordinated by the Ark of the Highland Lakes. Donations and manpower assistance info can be found at https://arkofhighlandlakes.org/flood-response-070525/ However for now, please stay tuned—we’re working closely with local authorities to ensure a safe, coordinated response.
