KITTY COTTAGE APPEAL

KITTY COTTAGE ADOPTION CENTER, INC.
750 Forrest Ave, Norristown, PA

Kitty Cottage Adoption Center has several senior cats who are looking for a quiet home where they can spend the rest of their golden years.  A shelter environment is stressful to cats, even one as nice as ours.  These seniors would much rather curl up on a soft couch and watch your favorite TV shows with you.  Is your house too quiet and you've thought about adopting but you don't want a crazy kitten climbing your drapes?  Reach out via phone (610-731-0101) or email (kittycottagepa@gmail.com) to discuss our Seniors For Seniors Program.

NEW CLUBHOUSE

‘People of Action ‘ busy planning our fall projects. We opened our first Rotary meeting in the new clubhouse at Jeffersonville Golf Club last week. The facility is brand new, fabulous and it opened just a couple months ago this summer. The building itself is a beautifully architected lodge just off the course in Jeffersonville.

There is the restaurant and a couple of large meeting rooms and a Pro Shop on the main floor and a clubroom bar and golf simulators in the den downstairs. Our meetings are held in the Elizabeth Room an open and bigly spacey beamed club room with all the latest A/V technology and a massive glass wall with private patio and a daydreaming view over the golf course.

Lunch was catered by the Burgess Resturant onsite. It is named after the family who owned the horse farm and race track on the site many years ago. Each of the rooms are named after family members. (e.g. The Elizabeth & the Patsy)  We were welcomed with open arms as West Norriton Township has a well know reputation for supporting local community groups. Downstairs is a pub bar open all day and a half dozen full sized golf simulators in stables with huge screens.

Our first speaker was Roseanne Milazzo a local resident and township commissioner. Rotary meets the first four Thursdays of each month at noon. All are Welcome lunch is available.

Congratulations to Alan Treisbach and Diane Helm for making such a great choice in this venue. We see many productive and growing meetings at our new clubhouse.
