FILMMAKERS GREGORY FALATEK and CODI CHUN
Last Thursday we had our fifth Thursday social meeting at the Brugess with 15 attendees. We had as a guest presenter, GREGORY FALATEX and CODI CHUN who told us about their film project about ELMWOOD PARK.
It is a full length movie, set in the late 90's, that incorporates the history of the park with a fictional storyline. They have lined up known professional actors to feature in the story, and are currently surveying the community for locations in which to shoot. Greg spoke about his passion for making films that "tell a story specific to you" and he wants to include as much local culture and local actors as possible. He and his producer Codi, are busy searching out funding for the film. They already have a good head start through Go Fund Me and are looking for investors and contributors to help them reach their target goal of $300,000.
You can find information below on how to contribute to this local film projec, either by becoming an investor and owning a portion of the film, or by making a donation . They are also looking for late 90's autos for use in the film.
