2015 Norristown Area High School - Four Way Speech Contest

Mar 4, 2015 - Each year Rotary sponsors a competitive speech contest which emphasizes the Rotary 4 Way Test in all we say and do. This year the Rotary Club of Norristown and the Norristown Area High School Interact Club in conjunction with Norristown Area H.S. sponsored a competitive speech contest on March 4th.  Six student finalists were selected from the entrants to compete on stage 

(L to R)  First place went to Jazminh Tuggle who spoke on the dangers of stereotyping people and generalizing about them, second place was Megan Litschi speaking in support of stronger gun control, and third place went to  Taylor Handy talking the need for universal access to computers and the internet for all students.  Also competing were Kristi McBean, Ashley Bucci and Alyssa DeOrdio.

Students Jazminh Tuggle-Snowden, Megan Litschi, Ashley DeOrdio, Ashley Bucci, Kristi McBean, Taylor Handy. Rotarian and Interact club advisor, Vanessa Cossari and Pastor Robert Schmidt led the judging committee.

Congratulations to all of the contestants.  We're very proud of you.
